The Borough Administrator is appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of Council and is responsible for the proper and efficient administration of the local government.  The Administrator manages the day-to-day operations, overseeing personnel and departments and coordinates interdepartmental operations, including those of the Borough Attorney, Engineer and Auditor.  The Administrator advises and consults with the governing body on policy decisions, executes laws of the State and ordinances and resolutions of the Borough, recommends improvements, contracts, and prepares, administers and recommends the annual budget, and maintains a continuing analysis of programs, operations and services.  The Borough Administrator also serves as the purchasing agent of the municipality.

The Tax Collector is responsible for the billing, collection and recording of all taxes levied upon properties in the Borough and is required to be licensed by the State of New Jersey to hold the position.

The Tax Assessor is responsible for the fair assessment of all real property in the Borough to ensure that the tax burden is distributed equally.  The law requires that the Assessor evaluate property as of October 1st in each tear to determine the full and fair value of each parcel.  Assessment Notice postcards are mailed each February to each property owner.

Consultations with the Tax Assessor are arranged by appointment.
